What Size Sheets Should I Furnish to Westside Graphics?

We ask that all incoming jobs arrive to us trimmed to the overall finished size, including tab extension - for standard letter size tabs with a 1/2" tab extension, this will be 9"x11".

It is our policy not to trim customer printed sheets. Any trimming necessary will incur a Trim Charge.

Should I Provide My Job Collated or Un-Collated?

Your sheets MUST come to us un-collated. Any pre-collated jobs will have to be un-collated, at an additional charge, before we can begin the tabbing process.

Feel free to request a quote for having us collate your tabs once they are completed!

I am Printing Tabs with a Reversed Tab Area, is There Anything I Should Know?

Yes! Please keep ink 1/16" above the 1/2" tab extension mark to prevent ink line appearing on sheet when tab cut.

If you are not planning to print the colored bar for the reverse tab area along the entire length of the sheet edge - please ensure that the colored area you print is longer than the cut size of your tab position.

For example, a 5th Cut tab is 2" - the reverse area for this tab would need to be 3" to prevent the corners of the reverse "box" being visible in the cut tab area.

Feel free to call with any Questions about printing reverse tabs.

How Many Overs do I Need to Provide for my Job?

10% over the quantity you need to yield is standard; however, the number of processes involved will dictate the overage required for your specific job. Ask us about overs before you go to press!

Will my Full Coverage and Coated Stocks Pose a Problem?

Full coverage printing and coatings - including UV and Aqueous - are not an issue; however, some coatings do require specialty mylar films and slower run times for best adhesion.
